DefinitionDocumented occupational vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) exposure — historically in PVC manufacturing, pre-1974 regulations. IARC Group 1 carcinogen — pathognomonic for hepatic angiosarcoma (~RR ~100); also implicated in HCC, brain tumors, lung. Pre-regulation cohort still at residual risk decades post-exposure cessation. Prevention-persona RedFlag (§20 v0.3 occupational).
