Notes

Biktarvy is a preferred first-line single-tablet ART regimen per DHHS / EACS / NIH AIDSinfo guidelines (2024). Combines bictegravir (integrase strand transfer inhibitor), emtricitabine (NRTI), tenofovir-AF (NRTI). High genetic barrier to resistance, well-tolerated, minimal drug-drug interactions vs. older PI-based regimens. Recommended for HIV-cancer-prevention pathway (per IND-CHRONIC-HIV-PREVENTION-ART). Drug-drug interaction screening mandatory before any cancer treatment is added.
