Notes

AFP velocity is a recognized response/progression signal in AFP-secretors (pre-treatment AFP ≥100). Not all HCCs secrete AFP — ~30% remain AFP-non-secretors. Always re-image (CECT or MRI) before declaring progression — pseudoprogression on ICI mimics rise.
