Notes

POD1UM-303 (KEYNOTE-style design): 1L randomized Phase III of retifanlimab + carboplatin + paclitaxel vs placebo + carbo/pacli in advanced/metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the anal canal — reported positive PFS 2024, supporting label expansion beyond the 2L monotherapy indication established by POD1UM-202 (n=94, ORR 14%, mDOR 9.5 mo). Retifanlimab is the first PD-1 inhibitor approved (FDA accelerated Mar 2023; EMA Aug 2023) for anal SCC 2L+ post- platinum; POD1UM-303 advances the same agent into the 1L combination setting. Standard PD-1 irAE spectrum (pneumonitis, colitis, endocrinopathies, hepatitis, nephritis, myocarditis) — baseline TSH/T4, cortisol, and full irAE counseling required. Missing source Source records SRC-POD1UM-202, SRC-POD1UM-303, and SRC-FDA-ZYNYZ are available. The catalog does not yet identify a dedicated ESMO anal-cancer guideline source; clinical claim linkage remains subject to qualified review.
