Notes
CAIRO3 (Simkens 2015, Lancet) and AIO 0207 established maintenance with capecitabine + bevacizumab after 6 cycles induction (CapOx-Bev or FOLFOX-Bev) — improves PFS vs observation; reintroduction of full doublet on progression. Standard de-escalation strategy in mCRC after induction response or stable disease. Lower-toxicity than continuing oxaliplatin (avoids cumulative neuropathy).
