Notes
GOG-218 (Burger 2011, NEJM) and ICON7 (Perren 2011, NEJM) established bevacizumab maintenance after 6 cycles carboplatin-paclitaxel ± concurrent bevacizumab. Highest absolute benefit in stage III suboptimally debulked or stage IV. Often combined with PARP maintenance (PAOLA-1: bev + olaparib) in HRD-positive disease; see REG-OLAPARIB-MAINTENANCE-OVARIAN. Avoid in patients with bowel-wall invasion or recent bowel surgery (perforation risk).
